Vacation with a Purpose
to Mombasa, Kenya

July 10 – 25, 2010
Cost: $2100 plus airfare

Working in partnership with Mombasa Community Health Program, International Volunteer Partnerships, and AFCA, volunteers will be painting our partner clinic, playing with children in our programs and will help rebuild some of the houses destroyed by the civil unrest of last year. A minimum of 12 volunteers are needed to fill a team of big-hearted individuals who want to change the lives of people by giving them hope.

No construction experience is needed. We are looking for people who are willing to learn, to play, to laugh, and to change lives. Flexibility is a must. Cost is $2,100 plus airfare. This fee includes food, in-country transportation, insurance, donation to AFCA’s work, snacks, and housing. A two-day safari is part of the stay, introducing volunteers to a bit of African wildlife while giving them some days of rest and relaxation.
